Most recently, I have been given quite a bit of information regarding Miss Teen USA 2010. The pageant, which is set for July 24th at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, is less than three months away. I am so excited to represent North Carolina and compete for an opportunity of a lifetime!
A public announcement was made on Monday, April 26th, and I am pleased to forward you the information regarding the 2010 Miss Teen USA Friends & Family rates as well as the Miss Teen USA Fantasy Camp.

This Saturday, Nadia will be heading out to Las Vegas for Miss USA and has so graciously asked me to lead her team at the 2010 NC Triad Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®. I want to invite you to join us in this inspirational and fun event. Here are the details:
What? –Komen NC Triad Race for the Cure®
When? –May 1, 2010 at 8:00 a.m.
Where? –Salem Academy and College
Here is a little background regarding the Komen foundation…
Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that Promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, which is today the largest breast cancer organization in the world, working in 50 countries to fulfill the Promise.
Funds from the Race for the Cure will go towards breast cancer programs in Triad area and to Komen outreach programs around the world. Nadia and I have collected almost $2,000 for this cause. Haven’t donated yet? You can still contribute to our team at:

Miss USA is almost here and I’m counting on North Carolina to bring home the crown again! Some exciting information has been released regarding the evening’s host and entertainment.
- Trace Adkins and Boys Like Girls will perform their newest hits for the swimsuit and evening gown portion of Miss USA.
- Comedic duo Joan and Melissa Rivers provide backstage glimpses & commentary
- Curtis Stone & Natalie Morales will host the Miss USA telecast
This is going to be an AMAZING production! Viewers can see images of all the contestants and vote for the 2010 Miss Photogenic USA at www.nbc.com. The award is given to the contestant who best exemplifies beauty through the lens of a camera. The winner of the online vote will be revealed during the live telecast. Be sure to vote for Miss North Carolina USA, Nadia Moffett.
